The Blue Man Group is a performance art group founded in 1987 in New York by three classmates, Phil Stanton, Chris Wink and Matt Goldman.
The original members no longer participate to the group shows that it has become over the years a kind of art network spread in various nations, as well as a production house with residents shows in various theaters around the world. These are characterized by the presence of three men (called Blue Men) with the masks in latex blue that hide the hair and ears. The Blue Men behave like mimes using various percussion "improvised", visually reproducing the sounds produced by the band.
