Makati City

Makati is a major city in the Philippines. It is located in the center of the capital region Metro Manila and has 529,039 inhabitants (census 1 May 2010). Makati is considered the economic and financial center of the Philippines.

Besides the two Philippine stock exchanges Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) and Philippine Dealing Exchange (PDEX) here are also many banks, such as the Metrobank located and other companies. The embassies of Germany, Austria and Switzerland are located in Makati.

Mandaluyong City

The City of Mandaluyong is one of the cities of Metro Manila, the Manila Metropolitan Area. It features a business center and many businesses: Asian Development Bank, Banco De Oro, San Miguel Corporation, Southeast Asia, UniLab.
It is bounded on the west by the country's capital, Manila, to the north of the city of San Juan, east by Quezon City and City of Pasig, and the city of Makati south. Currently, its nicknames are "Tiger City of the Philippines", "Heart Metro Manila" and "the capital of shopping malls in the Philippines."

Luzon

Luzon is the largest island of the Philippines and one of the three island groups in the country, the other two being Visayas and Mindanao. Luzon has 104,688 square kilometers and nearly forty million people, making it the fifteenth island in the world by land area and the fifth by population. It houses the country's capital, Manila, and the most populous city, Quezon City.

The island is mountainous and is bordered to the west by the South China Sea, to the east by the Philippine Sea and to the north by the Strait of Luzon.
