Tim Hortons soon in Manila Philippines

Tim Hortons Inc. is an international chain of cafes, founded in 1964 by Tim Horton and Jim Charade in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada). It specializes in coffee, donuts and bakery products.

Tim Hortons specializes in coffee, pastries, cookies, ice cream and pastries. Originally, the first local only served coffee and donuts, but expansion to other markets forced the company to seek new products, specializing in pastries. One of their own products are Timbits, also known as "donut holes" to gain superfluous weight of a donut. The development of donuts is industrial.

The group has more than 3,000 locations in Canada, about 500 in the US and employs more than 100,000 employees in their home country outnumbers franchises to McDonald's and holds 60% of the domestic market share in cafes, beating the multinational Starbucks.

In August 2014 it was confirmed that Burger King had bought the business for 11,400 million dollars, thus forming the third largest group of fast food restaurants.

Tim Hortons announced it would be expanding into Britain and the United Kingdom, with an unannounced number of locations to be built. There are also plans as of September 2016 to open locations in the Philippines. It located in Manila.
