One Peso Coin-New Generation

In commemoration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Philippines's national hero Jose Rizal, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas minted one peso coin to start  "New Generation" coins currency series.
Last year, the new design paper bills started in circulations, which were unexpectedly to contain various significant in their description of Philippine geography and wildlife. However, the new  grayish, nickel-plated one peso coin has nothing to be different other than facing side to be front.

The said new coin will be 24 mm in diameter and 5.35 grams in weight same as the current one peso in circulation. The newly minted coin featuring Dr. Jose Rizal portrait and marking of "150 years" 1861 - 2011 on its head, while the new BSP logo on its tail.
