The popular vacation site is mass by the Aboitiz and Soriano team and small group by the Aman Resorts. The term Amanpulo occurred from Aman, which is Sanskrit for peace and pulo means island in Tag-alog. The pairing of the two words followed in the making up of "Amanpulo" or "peace island" in mention to the tranquil island of Pamalican.
