Human Rainbow Polytechnic University of the Philippines

Over 31,000 students, faculty, staff and alumni of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) congregated at the Luneta Grandstand in Manila wearing colorful shirts, caps and flaglets and romped to modern pop tunes. This Largest Human Rainbow got included in Guinness Book of World Records.

It also aims to unite all PUP nations to celebrate its PUP Centennial Year for 1904 to 2004.



The event was highlighted by the initialing of the Declaration of Peace. It will be submitted to the United Nations to enjoin all universities in the world to unite in their curricular programs across-the-board subject that will study and address the problems of global violence, poverty and exploitation, and create good citizens for universal peace.

The PUP Nation beats the Guinness Records of the Hongkong Polytechnic University - HPU which organized 11,273 last October 6, 2002, and the Malta Archipelago composed of 11,750 individuals last November 15, 2003.
