TLC is an American girl group whose original line-up consisted of Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. One of its members, Lisa Lopes aka Left Eye, died victim of a car accident in 2002.
They scored ten top-ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including four number-one singles "Creep", "Waterfalls", "No Scrubs", and "Unpretty".
In total, TLC ten singles ranked in the top 10 in the United States including four ranked number 1's and four certified multiplatinum album. The group also won 5 Grammy Awards and sold 75 million records worldwide.
SWV
Sisters With Voices, better known as SWV, is an American female R&B, Grammy Award–nominated vocal trio from New York City, New York. Formed in 1990 as a gospel group, SWV became one of the most successful R&B groups of the 1990s.
These three friends are: Cheryl "Coko" Gamble-Clemons (born 13 June 1974), Tamara "Taj" Johnson-George (born April 1974) & Leanne "Lelee" Lyons (born 17 July 1973).
They had a series of hits, including "Weak", "Right Here/Human Nature", "I'm So into You", and "You're the One". The group disbanded in 1998 to pursue solo projects, and reunited in 2005.
