EDSA Bike Sharing Program


MMDA or Metropolitan Manila Development Authority newly launched the first bicycle lane along EDSA between the Ayala and Magallanes Metro Rail Transit stations.

They also provide bicycles and helmet for lending to commuters along the area.  The two-way bike lane is opened to the public 24/7, and It intended to be shared with pedestrians.

MMDA's new bike-sharing project materializes after the Asian Development Bank in November disclosed a similar but separate project to be operated in three asian cities, including Davao City.
