Longest line of coins-Guinness World Records

Organized by Kabayanihan Foundation, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Employees Association and BSP Officers Club. Aims to break the title of U.S. on the Guinness World Record as the " Longest line of coins."

This project is entitled as "Barya ng mga Bayani (Coins of Heroes), the Power of Small Change."
On November 30,2011, Andres Bonifacio Day. They created a 73.02 km line of 25-centavo coins in the open area facing the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.

Other than creating a world history, they wanted to promote the importance of coin recirculation. While they raise funds to support build classrooms for public elementary schools.

According to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, video game, vending machines, karaoke machines, church contributions, and jueteng numbers game are the main factors of coin shortage in the nation.
