24 Hour Film Race Champion 2010

A Filipino Filmmaker named Paolo Dy proved that a valuable movie can be produced in just one day.
The two-minutes film is about a young Pinoy, who’s striving to make it in New York, and the way he tries to hearten his parents back home that he’s doing fine in the big city.

It’s a very promise film that he thinks anyone who’ s ever been far from home can relate to.



The rules of the competition involve the theme “Exaggeration” and “Pizza” as the surprise element for Brooklyn. And in 24 hours, each team must conceptualize, write, cast, shoot, edit and score the film, “and must be physically to submit the entry.

Angry Doxen Films, Paolo is a commercial director and a Manila based film maker who got his masterpiece titled "Creative License" four awards such as Best Editing, Best Sound Design, Audience Award Screening and Best Film on 2010 US National 24 Hour Film Race Competition in Brooklyn and lately announced last February to win Best Overall Film.

Being the winner at Brooklyn’s area as Best Film, correspondingly, gave them the break to compete against the top winners in the other 20 cities, that is more than 2,000 films created from San Francisco, New York City, Montreal, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Seattle, and others.

This year 24 Hour Film Race will be on April 29 to 30, 2011.
