Every 9th of January, Quiapo in the city of Manila celebrates the
feast of the
black Nazarene.

The replica statue gained more than a thousand devotees from different parts of the philippines because of its miracles.

Way back in the 1607, when the statue was brought to the Philippines by the Augustinian Recollect Missionaries from Acapulco, Mexico.

The said black Nazarene has been saved from a
galleon that caught fire. Which resulted in the life sized wooden sculpture into a dark colored.

The Black Nazarene is transported into the procession with thousands of barefoot male and female devotees, from old and younger kids.
