Every year the brightest and the biggest
Christmas lanterns plays to the tune of inspirational x'mas songs at the country's Christmas Capital, San Fernando Pampanga.
The contests were participated by its barangays to show their devotion and creativeness of making giant lantern that is around 18 to 20 feet in diameter.

This parol symbolized true Filipino Christmas when months turn to "ber", particularly September, October, November and December. Every houses and commercial establishment and even in the street were decorated of parols in different colors and materials used.
