Makansutra asia food village. Makansutra is located at the 2nd floor of the Manila Ocean Park.
The name trace its history from the words makan (Bahasa Indonesian term for eating) and sutra (Sanskrit term meaning guide or lessons.)

Makansutra was founded by photojournalist KF Seetoh in 1997 with a simple vision of celebrating the Asian Food Culture and Lifestyle. It inks Asian food guides in various countries, has its own food TV series, provides mobile and web content and create culinary events.
In 2008, the Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore's President Nathan presented Seetoh with special recognition award for giving a "personality" to Asian food and christening him a "Food Ambassador"
