A line dress is the name of a style of dress in which the shape of the body and skirt mimic the lines of the letter "A". The A-line wedding dress was extremely popular, especially when designing a skirt that rose several inches above the knee.
These dresses have full skirts in forms of "A", and slightly notched at the waist. Those brides with thick in its middle or hips can wear this type of dress and feel confident of being able to hide their problem areas. The other type is mermaid wedding dresses that mimic the shape of a mermaid.
